With more than 35 years of experience, Jaime has provided advise in numerous acquisitions and dispositions of companies/business (LBO/MBO/MBI), start-ups, corporate restructurings and joint ventures, advising to both corporate clients and private equity houses (domestic and international).
He has in-depth knowledge of commercial contracts in a wide range of sectors.
Throughout his career he has held the position of Secretary or Legal Counsel of the Board of Directors of more than 100 companies (domestic and subsidiaries of multinationals). He has a proven experience in advising clients in all matters of corporate law, including board secretarial legal work, company reorganizations, governance schemes and shareholders agreements.
He has been former Partner of prestigious law firms as Estudio Legal (1986 – 1998), Landwell – PwC (1999 – 2009), Roca Junyent (2009 – 2015) and Andersen (2016 – 2022).
In the academic field, he is a lecturer of the Master's in International Business Law at Universidad San Pablo-CEU (Madrid), as well as an author of numerous articles and academic papers. He is also a regular speaker at events and seminars.
